Monograms draws themed collections of machine embroidery designs and sells them as stitch files you download. Choose by what it is of, by the hoop on your machine and by the format your machine reads; the files and a stitch guide come to you by email.
What is sold here is a file. There are no finished items, no threads, no stabiliser and no machines in this shop, and nothing is posted to you. You bring the machine and the cloth.
211 designs in all, £21 to £37 a collection, each bought once.
PES, DST, JEF, EXP in every collection, with a PDF stitch guide.
Drawn for 100 × 100 mm, 130 × 180 mm, 200 × 200 mm. The reference on each collection says which.
Every one of them lists its designs by name before you buy: the collection page has the whole list, the stitched sizes, the hoop it needs and the licence in full. On the shelf page you can narrow them by theme, by your hoop and by your machine's format.
Sixteen hedgerow flowers drawn as open line, for a light hand on plain cloth.
The full alphabet, every letter grown through with its own plant.
Fourteen vegetables and herbs at small-hoop size, for aprons, cloths and bags.
Eighteen woodland creatures with shaded fill, drawn for the mid-size hoop.
Sixteen things found between the tideline and the harbour wall.
Fifteen folk ornaments cut from the northern winter, symmetrical and flat.
Twenty small spring motifs, none over 45 mm, for collars, cuffs and corners.
Twelve repeating borders with matched ends, for hems, cuffs and table edges.
A plain serif alphabet at three heights, for initials that have to last.
Fourteen birds from a British garden, each drawn in its own markings.
Sixteen motifs drawn for the table: corners, borders, centres and a frame for a name.
Eighteen spare geometric marks for small-hoop work and for building your own repeats.
The hoop decides whether a design will fit your machine at all, and the format decides whether it can read the file. Both are printed on every card and on every collection page.
Nothing is ever added for you, there is no minimum order, and a collection is licensed once: adding it twice does nothing.
They decide whether your download may begin at once or after the 14-day cancellation period. Neither is ticked for you, and leaving them alone is a perfectly ordinary order. The Cancellation & Refunds page sets out what each answer means.
A download link, not a parcel. A download link stays live for 30 days from the order and can be used up to 5 times. The Delivery & Files page says what is inside the download and what to do if it does not arrive.
Card payment is not connected yet: every collection is still being checked against its specification, and nothing is charged for a collection that is not finished. Orders can be set down by email in the meantime.
The basket and the checkout work, and an order set down there is handed to your own email program so the shop can answer it. Write to support@monograms.live if you would rather ask first.
One buyer, one shop: stitch the designs on to items you make and sell them, but the files themselves are never passed on.
Every collection page prints the licence in full: what you may do with the designs, and the few things you may not.
Wild flowers and grasses drawn from life.
Full alphabets for names and initials.
Vegetables and herbs for aprons and cloths.
Garden birds and woodland creatures.
Shells, boats and things found at the tideline.
Ornaments and table motifs for the cold months.
Repeats, edges and spare geometric marks.
